I used ATX movers for my move in December at the recommendation of a friend, and I'm glad that I did!

I had planned to move myself with the help of friends because hiring movers wasn't really in my budget - however, Mickey provided me with a very reasonable quote which was dead on - I paid exactly what he quoted me. The movers showed up exactly on time at 9 a.m. the day of my move and did a quick consultation to determine with me what was being moved and what was staying (I bought some new furniture and appliances and left some at the old house to sell) and they moved everything I requested and nothing that I didn't.

All in less than 2 hours my entire 3-bed/2-bath house was loaded and moved into my new 3-bed/2-bath house. I was very impressed that they were speedy, however, took care to wrap my furniture to prevent any damage. They also took apart and put together very carefully my huge king-sized bed, dresser with heavy detachable mirror, sectional sofa, etc. All of my dressers were wrapped to ensure the drawers stayed in as well, which I prefer over the drawers being removed and put back in. Saves so much time!

The movers were very polite and asked me exactly where I wanted everything and then verified that it was in the correct spot before moving on to the next item.

Would I use ATX Movers again? Definitely. Would I recommend them to a friend? Yes! They made moving during the holidays SO much less stressful by saving me a ton of time and all for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

I called around about 10 moving companies and Atx movers was ironically the first I called “did price and date comparison “ and ended up calling them back to confirm dates. April was very pleasant on the phone. I went with Atx movers as they were the best and never regretted it!

I have used ATX MOVERS twice and most recently on 1/19/13. Exceptional service and very quick, hard workers. I moved from a 3 story townhome to a 3rd floor apartment. So the move wasn't easy. The guys never slowed down. I was just so impressed. They even hooked up my washer and dryer up for me. I highly recommend them because they are about their business and getting the job done in a timely manner. You can't go wrong with them. Their quote was the cheapest, and it wasn't the most expensive which was also a plus. I feel the service they provided was well worth it. I would definitely recommend and will use them in the future. I just don't plan on moving again for a very long time. :-)

With a young child, the idea of determining the logistics of a move - trucks, man power, how to keep her out from being underfoot - was not something I was even remotely interested in handling. Through a recommendation of a friend, I reached out to ATX Movers for the first time in 2009. The quote Mickey, the owner and operator, provided was spot on. We used ATX again in 2010 when we moved once more, and this time, we actually ended up paying less than the quote we received.

That's largely in part to his professional - and fast - staff. They packed the truck, drove from one place to another, and unpacked the truck in less than two hours. They work fast and smart, and they're always courteous.

Honestly, after having a handful of experiences with other movers, I cannot recommend ATX Movers enough. Not only are they fast, but they're more affordable than any mover I've ever dealt with - and they do better work. End of story.

I cannot recommend ATX Movers enough. They've moved me twice, and other friends have all had positive experiences with them. From what I've seen, they're one of the less expensive companies, as well.

They handled themselves professionally, showed up on time to give estimates. Once they were running a bit late from a prior move they did earlier in the day (the woman's things were supposed to be packed, and they were not), but they called to make me aware of this and kept me updated with estimated times of when they would be ready.

They come to your house (or wherever you're moving from) and give you an hourly rate plus a "not to exceed" quote. Once, they charged me less than the "not to exceed" even though it took more time than they estimated.

I just want to say Jason and Justin was awesome!! They were on time, quick, efficient, respectful and very helpful. I have moved several times and I have not seen nothing like those two and they made it fun.

When they arrived, I was all packed and ready and they took extra care of my belongings and made me feel at ease.

This is my third time to use ATX movers and again I am impressed. Even though the weather was not that great (raining, cold, and messy), Gary and Justin were very professional and did a great job!

We needed to relocate from Austin to Leander and called many movers who were estimating more than our budget and finally without any hope we called ATX movers. Estimation they have provided was within our budget and they were available at the date we wanted to. Appointment was fixed and they were very transparent on prices. They showed up exactly at 9.00 AM and really experts in moving. They brought tools which were required and even when weather was bad they didn't even hesitate for second. They carefully wrapped all my furniture's. and glassware's Really efficient, transparent in their pricing, and honestly just all around nice guys. We needed help loading a POD for a cross country move. ATX movers responded quickly and pricing was straightforward. Justin and Aaron were fantastic! We had the afternoon window and they updated us throughout the day as to when they would show up. They were very efficient and took care to not damage the house and furniture. There was consistent communication and confirmation regarding moving date/time, location, and rates prior to and on the morning of moving day. Essential packing materials such as commercial wrap and furniture pads were included for safeguarding furniture and lighting. Truck had tie-down points throughout the length of the trailer that were utilized to ensure your belongings would remain secure during travel. In the past year I have been a part of 4 residential moves. Two of those moves I used ATX Movers. Those were the only moves that went smoothly. I wished I would have known about them earlier. I highly recommend ATX Movers. And will continue to use only ATX Movers.

Update: A couple years after the above review, I needed movers again. I decided to once again book ATX Movers. This time Elmer, Eric, and Justin were our move team, and once again they were fantastic. Who knew the least stressful part of a move could be the actual move? I can't thank them enough for their attention to detail and efficiency. I'll keep calling them for all my future moves.

I called 4 movers but only ATX sent a rep out to give an estimate. We chose them based on that. Due to closing on our new house being delayed 3 times we had to reschedule 3 times. That was never an issue with them. On moving day the movers were on time, did an amazing job, and were polite and professional. We did have an issue with a piece of furniture getting a small scratch and ATX had that repaired rapidly and it looks awesome. My thanks to everyone at ATX for truly remarkable customer service, work, and follow up. I highly recommend this company!

ATX Movers saved my life!!!

I had a last minute move and April helped me get a quote in just a couple hours. I'm moving via portable storage container, and when my leasing office said it couldn't be parked outside I panicked. ATX Movers turned on a dime to get me an earlier time AND a truck just days ahead of the move.

My movers Manny and Kevin were awesome! They were fast, thorough and friendly. They did a great job packing up my stuff and getting everything loaded in the storage container. Manny and Kevin even went the extra mile to make sure my fragile items were packed carefully and tied everything down with Eagle Scout-style knots and rope. Storage containers are always a crapshoot so I feel good knowing my stuff was secured as much as possible.

On top of all this, the cost was a great value and they came in under budget and time estimated. A+++ movers, highly recommend!

10/10 Movers! My husband and I needed to move from Pflugerville to Lago Vista. We called around to get estimates from moving companies in the area and these guys actually came to the house ahead of time to give an accurate estimate of time and cost. In the end, that's why we chose to go with ATX movers. They were the right choice! The movers showed up on time (the window was from 9-9:30 and they arrived right at 9), efficient, transparent in their pricing, and honestly just all around nice guys. If we ever need to move again in the Austin area I won't hesitate to call these guys again.

After a thorough post inspection: no damage whatsoever to any item (fragile, glass items included) or our residence (this included moving oddly shaped furniture, including a Tempur-Pedic adjustable base (Awkward and heavy) through narrow, cornered hallways with ease) - we were very impressed!

Detail Oriented:
Eric and Justin asked any clarifying questions needed and moved quickly. At one point, they were both at a jog pace on a August afternoon. After verbally confirming destination, they left and arrived quickly with our items.

Bonus: Our movers also assisted with clunky equipment hauled in the back of the truck!

Overall - 5 star experience with booking and the entire experience - no deposit required - just a confirmation prior to move day. Will undoubtedly use them if needed in the future! Buying the Austin market is stressful enough. So, I was very glad to not worry about the actual move! Very well done! and a huge "Thank you!" to Eric and Justin. Both were positive and friendly during the whole move!

They were timely. The two men helping me to move were courteous and pleasant to be around, and there was not a lazy bones in their bodies. They NEVER stopped working nor rested until the job was finished.

I highly recommend ATX Movers! I was moving out of Austin to another city in Texas and Jason and Ray were the best! Very professional and treated my things like their own. The whole process from the quote to the end was seamless. They even made two stops, one to my storage unit and then to my new place. It was a tough job going up and down stairs since I moved into a second floor apartment. But they didn't break a beat (but did break a sweat! Ha).
I will be telling all my friends to use their moving services. And a plus, they are veteran-owned!

Our company has used ATX Movers a couple of times now. They're super responsive, professional, timely and careful with our valuable medical equipment. I've spoken with April when we schedule a move and she's wonderfully helpful and kind. This week, Tommy and Dillon swapped out our big exam room tables from one clinic to another clinic and then to our storage unit as we rotated tables around. They made it look so easy and effortless. I thought this effort was going to take three or four hours but they had it done in about two hours. We're super appreiciative for ATX Movers and will definitely use them again in the future.

It just so happened that I found out about ATX movers through a flyer on my door and I am so glad that I did. Their service was absolutely awesome. I choose a traditional move so my items were already packed but they still came prepared just in case. Justin and Miguel were professional and courteous, they asked me where I wanted my stuff located in the apartment instead of just unloading it anywhere. They were very careful with my furniture. Overall a great experience. I had a team of two guys that moved my 2BR/2bathroom place. I can tell you , they put in the work. They had to move me from a second floor place to a third floor. That is NOT easy. I had a large couch and washer/dryer and some really heavy boxes. Nothing was damaged. They were efficient and friendly. One thing you can do to help these guys is BE READY. Have your stuff staged, organized, and packed, ready to go. Don't have a mess for them to walk in to. It's hard enough work. I felt the price was very fair and my things were looked after properly. Due to the winter storm in Feb, we were forced to move to a different apartment within the same community in a short notice.
Manny and Kevin helped us to move all the things within 2 hours. The schedule was 9.30 AM. But, they arrived early which was helpful for us to finish the move early.

These guys were amazing. They moved everything extremely fast and were very professional. They worked non-stop and handled all my items with care. One of the guys was Miguel and I can't remember who the other way that was with him but they were both extremely professional and quick. BEST BEST moving experience ever!!! Jason and Isiah were AWESOME!!! Prompt, Polite, Efficient, Courteous, AWESOME!! They didn't say anything bad about my horrible packing abilities and having boxes weighing probably 3x what they should. They loaded and unloaded within an hour basically a 1 bedroom. Final cost came in under estimate. Moved to another state and I didn't have to wait weeks for my stuff to show up, they were right behind me. I basically got home and had time to unload my vehicle and they pulled up. I have made several out of state moves and this one was the best experience hands down!!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

ATX offers a senior discount which helps. April is a delight to talk with and put my mind at ease. Dillon and Justin worked their tails off never stopping for a break in record heat. They offered to move items that we were going to move ourselves, but we still had time left on the two hour minimum so it worked out great. I highly recommend.
